Programme: Youth in Action

Education and Culture DG

Project webpage: http://www.ceisdonmilani.com/lmm/

General objectives:

Within the European Youth in Action Program, the project Let’s Move the Market aimed to foster mutual knowledge among young people on issues and opportunities related to labour market and social entrepreneurship. It also intended to improve the quality of support measures for youth initiatives, promote European youth cooperation through the organization of workshops, visits, seminars, exchange of knowledge and good practices.

Specific objectives:

Let’s Move the Market was conceived as a great opportunity for informal education, with the purpose to strengthen each partners’ skills on youth entrepreneurship.

Activities:

The project lasted 2 years and was developed in each of the partners’ countries where were organized three days conferences on youth work in Europe. The meetings included visits, seminars and training courses. The conferences were followed by local youth initiatives through the application of a bottom-up approach.

For each country, the project included non-profit activities related to the theme of informal learning. In the case of Italy, Itaca promoted a youth recruitment process through direct marketing and communication activities.
