CrossCare Mid-Term Presentation Conference

(TRIESTE) – CrossCare represents an “observation lab of the needs of older people and the evolution of the dimensions of active ageing”. This was pointed out by Orietta Antonini, president of the Social Cooperative Itaca, during the mid-term conference held in the Predonzani Room of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region Palace in Trieste on the 28th of September. “Elderly care is a delicate moment that often results in institutionalization solutions that CrossCare aims to overcome. The project sees the nursing home as a place of interception of social needs on the territory”.

FreeToChoose board game: next steps in the testing phase

WS3: Game testing

The FtC board game official experimentation phase will start  in December. In Italy the official sessions will involve several organizations, including the Youth Lab of Cavallino-Treporti (VE), the Progetto Giovani di Treviso and other youth centres managed by Itaca. It is foreseen the participation of high  schools of Pordenone, San Donà di Piave, Treviso, Trieste, Modena and many game associations, too. Besides, the regional center for orientation will be involved and the VET sector. A similar scenario is foreseen in Slovenia and Portugal, the other FtC Countries involved in the experimentation.
